Welcome to
modern education.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Fairborn Digital Academy helps students to take control of their future through virtual and in-class education.

Small classes and two teachers per class give our students more guidance.

Students and teachers benefit from teamwork in the classroom.

Our non-traditional method prepares students for the real world and for higher education.

Fewer students per class and a focus on teamwork helps to engage students.

We have said a lot about how our students learn at Fairborn Digital Academy. Our previous and current students have a lot to say on our behalf.

The Digital

Our main goal is to offer online education programs available to high school students who require a less traditional learning environment. Each year Fairborn Digital Academy evaluates our students’ progress. It makes revisions to their academic programs to provide each student with the best online learning opportunity possible, to achieve academic success and fulfillment of high school course credit.

[bell rings]

Male Teacher: Sometimes just being heard and listened to and understood is one of the major first steps and then being connected with them, so that they know that we know them and they get to know us as well.

Male Student: With Fairborn Digital Academy, they give me the opportunity to work and still come to school. I think it’s just amazing.

Female Teacher: I really agree with the school’s philosophy and having every student work at their own pace, because when I know that you’re on an IEP, you need to have that extended time or maybe if you’re really good at a certain subject, you need to be able to excel in it and move as quickly as you can, so you can focus on those subjects that you can’t do very well.

Having students work at their own pace and two teachers in every classroom I thought was so cool.

Male Teacher: So this is a program that if you come in and you’re self-motivated and you’re willing to work hard, you can be done with this program…your four-year high school diploma usually done in 2 or less.

Male Student #2: The greatest thing about this school, if you don’t understand the way they’re teaching you on the screen, they’ll have the math teachers go there’s another way to do it and if you don’t really understand that way, then here’s another one.

Female Teacher #2: There’s a positive, sort of welcoming atmosphere. I think the idea that you have a physical place to go to school but you can also do school from home is very crucial to student success.

Knowing that you can come in here and if it’s a safe environment. No matter what you look like, no matter how you think, how you dress, you are accepted and seen as someone who can be successful.

Fairborn Digital Academy recognizes the difference in educational techniques. Some traditional high schools can be challenging and not offer the best options for students to grow the way they want. Whether you want to learn at an accelerated pace and gain credits for college or just need a schedule that differs from traditional high school, you can succeed in our online learning environment. Our teachers and accountability coaches want to see you achieve your goals and can help you get there.
