Fairborn Digital Academy participated in this year’s Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition in March. The exhibition is dedicated to the educational and artistic advancement of talented young people in the state of Ohio. Their purpose is to provide all budding young artists of the state with opportunities to advance their talent, whether that be through scholarships or simply experiencing the process of entering their work in a competition.
FDA students worked for weeks creating stunning art to be entered into the competition. Paintings, pencil drawings and even a suit of armor were created. Ms. Shari encouraged everyone to participate and to “be a part of something bigger than themselves.” Close to 20 students entered their pieces to be displayed at the state capitol, proving that with a little hard work and dedication, anything is possible.
